How we protect your name and number
Plain language, because you should not need a lawyer to join your own jangui.
- Nothing is public. There is no directory of groups or people. A group can only be reached through the link its organizer shares.
- You see your group only. Members see the names and schedule of their own group and nothing from any other group.
- Your phone number stays with your organizer. Other members never see it, except in groups where members pay each other directly, where the person you are paying sees it so you can send the money.
- Your name is locked once claimed. After you confirm your name with a code, nobody else can take it. The organizer can undo a mistaken claim.
- No passwords are stored. Sign-in codes are single use and expire in 15 minutes. We keep only a scrambled version of each code.
- We never sell or share your details. We do not send marketing. The only messages you get are the codes you ask for and reminders your organizer turns on.
- You can be removed. Ask your organizer, and your name, number, and email are deleted from the group. Organizers can delete a whole group at any time.
- Everything travels encrypted. The site is served over HTTPS only.
